At the heart of Angel-Lena, Inc. is a legacy woven with love, compassion, and a deep sense of service—passed down by two remarkable women: Angel (“Nannie”) and Lena Mae (“Granny”).

Angel, lovingly known as Nannie, was more than a caregiver—she was a counselor, a community advocate, and a light in the lives of so many. Her mission was always to uplift others, often creating job opportunities to help people find their independence and dignity. With an infectious smile and a heart full of grace, Nannie made sure everyone she encountered felt seen, heard, and empowered.

Lena Mae, known to all as Granny, carried the same spirit of generosity and strength. A master upholsterer and devoted foster parent, she opened her home to those migrating from the South—offering warmth, meals, and a place to feel safe. Her impact reached far beyond family; she served as a caregiver to individuals with special needs, nurturing both their physical and spiritual well-being.
